Carl Lewis Treadmill - A Look At This Unique Brand Of Treadmill

The Carl Lewis Treadmill is named after the famous athlete Carl Lewis who Is well known for winning 10 Olympic medals, 9 of which were gold and 10 World Championships medals of which 8 were gold.  His career spanned from 1979 all the way up to 1996 at which point he retired.

At the moment he is now an actor and of course he has his own line of treadmills with his namesake.  The Carl Lewis Treadmill was created under the Carl Lewis Fitness brand which is a part of the Alba PLC Electronics group.  The Alba group is known for their quality electronic devices in the electrical appliances market.

The Carl Lewis Treadmill series seems to have one common thread and that is to provide quality treadmills for affordable prices to the consumer.  Each machine usually has a 1 year warranty and Is priced between 279 pounds to 749 pounds.

Here’s a quick look at a few of the machines from the Carl Lewis Treadmill series, along with the features that each one has:

1.  The Carl Lewis Motorised Treadmill MOT566

This treadmill allows you to run anywhere between 1-10 miles per hour via it’s built in console.  There is also a 2 level manual incline and 7 preset programs built into the machine, one of which being manual.

Some of the interesting features of this treadmill are it’s ability to calculate your body fat, it’s hand pulse sensors as well as a cushioned running surface so that running on the treadmill is easier on your joints.

This treadmill has 1.75 horsepower and can accommodate a runner who weights up to 19 stones.
This treadmill has the ability to fold up and roll away via the built in rollers so it’s easy to set aside when you’re not using it.  You will likely be able to find this treadmill for just under 300 pounds.

2.  The Carl Lewis Motorised Treadmill MOTP12

This Carl Lewis Treadmill gives you 2.0 horsepower and is a bit more powerful than the previous model.  It also gives you the option of an incline of 0-10%, an LCD display which gives you 6 preset programs as well as 1 manual program and the ability to adjust your speed from 1 to 10 miles per hour as well.

This treadmill also has the ability to fold up when not in use and be rolled away so it is very much similar to the previously discussed treadmill with the exception that it is slightly more powerful and offers an LCD display.  You can probably find this at a slightly higher price than the MOT566.

3.  The Carl Lewis Motorised Treadmill MOTY5

This brand of treadmill is the most expensive of the lot at around 435 pounds or so, it also looks the most sleek.  It has 14 built in programs as well as manual, it has “motion control” which lets you change the speed with a wave of your hand and you have a console which will display info on your speed, pulse, calories burned and distance travelled.

This treadmill operates at 2.0 horsepower and can hold up to 19 stones.  It can also fold up and be rolled out of the way.

So if you’re looking into a Carl Lewis Treadmill, be sure to check up on these models a bit more, they are some of the best deals you can find right now.
